Assassin's Creed Introduces Surprising AoT Event for Holiday Season
In a surprising crossover event that defies usual forecasts, Ubisoft has revealed an in-game crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the acclaimed anime series Attack on Titan. The unexpected holiday event runs from November 25 through December 22, including free extra story content for Shadows players.
Strange Questline Uncovered
According to the official statement, "A mysterious meeting leads characters Naoe and Yasuke into a original mission, where whispers of banned rituals and terrifying changes resonate through the shadows." The plot presents a "oddly dressed woman named Ada" who charges the duo with traveling into the Crystal Cave—a important location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her friend from a secret cult.
The questline centers on "bizarre experiments and a fearsome enemy" and is accessible to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.
Iconic Settings and Metamorphoses
The preview showcases the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was formerly where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through generations. The teaser ends with a powerful moment showing a character, presumably the prisoner, transforming into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.

Players who finish the adventure will acquire an special katana alongside numerous items concealed throughout the area in secret chests. The update also contains purchasable Attack on Titan item packs, featuring:
